The countdown has begun for the most anticipated weekend on the Venetian shore of Lake Garda: the Granfondo Dorelan ReActive Cycling, which will be held in Peschiera del Garda Sunday, October 15th.
An event that Peschiera hosts great champions of the world of sport and for this 8th edition the organization could not deny itself! This year one of the magnificent seven cyclists who have conquered all three Grand Tours will be with us – Vuelta a España in 2010, Giro d'Italia in 2013 and 2016, and the Tour de France in 2014 – Vincenzo Nibali. Not only has he dominated the Grand Tours, but he has also won two monument classics: the Giro di Lombardia in 2015 and 2017 and Milan-San Remo in 2018.
The Dorelan ReActive weekend will also be an opportunity for recreation and relaxation for our athletes and their families. Thanks to the beauty of the natural landscape and the many entertainment opportunities available on Garda, this area is considered one of the major tourist attractions in north-west Italy.
Even the track of the Granfondo on Sunday 15 October is equally breathtaking: a route of 95km and a difference in altitude of 1246mt immersed in the hills of Garda Veneto. A route that offers not only beautiful landscapes but also great challenges: the Garda Wall, a 500-metre climb at a gradient of 20% which is located approximately halfway along the route.
So all that's left for us to do is close out the summer cycling season in style!
