There Granfondo Dorelan ReActive go back to Garda Lake: The 12 And October 13th over 1500 athletes from 26 nations will take part.
The splendid lakeside town will be the protagonist of an extraordinary sporting event: the Dorelan ReActive Cycling. The eagerly awaited event has already exceeded all expectations, selling out a week before registration closed. On Saturday and Sunday a trail of cyclists will color Peschiera del Garda, all ready to challenge themselves and face the legendary Garda Wall!
The Dorelan ReActive Cycling is an event that combines sport, nature and healthy competition. At its 9to edition, the GranFondo Dorelan attracts more and more cycling enthusiasts and more! The Dorelan ReActive weekend will be an opportunity for leisure and relaxation for our athletes and their families. A unique route immersed in the wonders of Lake Garda.
This event is becoming more and more international, with athletes from 26 countries, including Germany, Switzerland and Great Britain. Italy will also be well represented, with participants from almost all regions! The program includes a weekend dedicated to cycling.
Saturday 12th October: from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm there will be the collection of the race packs and from 5.00 pm an aperitif for everyone in Piazza Betteloni with a guest David Cassani, former coach of the Italian national cycling team who will leave together with all the participants for the Granfondo on Sunday.
Sunday 13th October: at 8.00 departure of the Granfondo Dorelan ReActive and at 2.00 pm the awards ceremony in Piazza Betteloni.
The Granfondo route will be breathtaking, immersed in the hills of Garda Veneto, with continuous ups and downs among vineyards, olive trees and the mirror of Lake Garda. A route of 97.5 km and a difference in altitude of 1190 m which offers not only beautiful landscapes but also great challenges! Halfway through the course the athletes will have to face a climb with a 500-meter climb at a 20% gradient: THE GARDA WALL !!
All that's left for us to do is close the 2024 cycling season in style! We look forward to seeing you in Peschiera del Garda on October 12-13!!
